A Bit of History

Basic VI was founded by Mr. Bob Hansen in September of 1980. At that time Basic VI occupied an 11,000 square foot building in Mountain View, California. Our primary focus then consisted mainly of milling and sheetmetal operations.

  Over the past 20 years our company has grown to 50 employees and moved to our new fifteen thousand square foot building to encompass our ever-increasing services.

 Erik Hanson, the founders son is now at helm of the company and will guide the course of Basic VI into the 21st century. Basic VI currently provides it's customers with advanced manufacturing practices. The company's focus on continual improvement has led us to manufacture integrated shelf designs in smaller lot sizes at high volume pricing.
